I like this new style you've tried, it looks like a realistic cell shading...almost real, almost not, caught between, undecided...and the little spots where you missed the lines make it look like loose or random hairs that lead to the more realistic viewpoint while the solid lines for the shadows and fur hold it partially on the cartoon side as well.:XD:
