done all in color pencil, no refs.
a random canine warrior lady which wants something to eat...
Im quite happy with it, apart from the clouds which I gave up on..well thats all:bored:

The pencil work on the fur really created a nice texture, and the core anatomy of the main character works and looks right. The only thing that draws my attention with the anatomy is that the perspective doesnt look right. The Legs look too close together, the right leg looks like it should be closer to the bottom of the image. The use of colour creats a nice fantasy feeling to the image but it lacks the idea of distance- This is usually hard to achieve and it is something which comes with practise. However it is really nice to see a charcter image with a background which has obviously been thought about as opposed to a last minute addition
The Artist thought this was FAIR

The "mane" is great, I'm a fan of long neck fur x3

I think the ears a little bit too far away from the eyes, though :P

Very nice. After one giant picture done in colored pencils, I learned my lesson. I don't think I'll be as adventurous with my pencil coloring as you are. That's what photoshop is for now lol.

I do agree with you, I was supposed to watercolor the bg,
but forgot to bring my brushes to my grandparents, so I "had" to do it.
sure was tiresome xD
